Here’s the skinny: we had the kind of shitty situation happen that no small business wants.

A brand booked us for a last-minute event and, in the interest of time, gave us the formal green light to place our flower orders while the remaining details were being sorted. That part isn’t uncommon—especially when working with big brands.

What is uncommon is having a brand back out at the very last second. And that’s exactly what happened.

As our studio began filling with gorgeous blooms for the event, we received a message that essentially said, “The team has decided to revisit this for our September event instead. Will the flowers hold until then?”

Ummm… 🤯

So, like Beyoncé taught us, we’re turning lemons into lemonade—because these flowers are far too beautiful to go to waste.

This Sunday, we’re opening the studio for a relaxed day of fresh-flower workshops, with three different projects and staggered arrival times throughout the day.

Choose your project and reserve your spot in advance. When you arrive, we’ll introduce you to the project and demonstrate the basic techniques. Then, you’ll be free to design at your own pace, with our assistance nearby to offer as much—or as little—guidance as you need. Each reservation includes up to 90 minutes of studio time.

Choose Your Workshop:

• 11 AM Arrival: Flowers in a Bag Arrangements - Create your own version of our signature Flowers in a Bag size Small mason jar arrangement.

• 12 PM Arrival: Pin Frog-Style Centerpiece - Explore shape, line, and movement through a more sculptural, ikebana-inspired design.

• 1 PM Arrival: Bowl Centerpiece - Design a lush, full centerpiece in a small ceramic bowl using foam-free techniques.

Please Note:

Please arrive at your reserved arrival time. Your reservation includes up to 90 minutes of studio time beginning at that time; arriving late will not extend your session, and any missed time will be forfeited.

All designs must be completed in the studio within the allotted 90 minutes. Your finished arrangement is yours to take home, but unused flowers, materials, tools and supplies may not be removed from the studio.

Due to the limited capacity and special nature of this event, all reservations are final and nonrefundable. Cancellations, no-shows and unused workshop time are not eligible for refunds or credits.
